Service OK. The ice cream and waffles are just average in my opinion. The whipped cream tastes similar to that from the spray can. The average price for the sundae is € 7.

Worst ice cream we've eaten in a long time and at a high price. The ice cream tasted artificial and all types were somehow the same. We had ice cream cones to go, we can't say anything about the ice cream sundaes ...

At the rear exit of the exclusive QF shopping arcade directly on Neumarkt in the center of Dresden, directly opposite the Frauenkirche, is what we consider to be the best Italian ice cream parlor in town, the Gelateria Bellagio. During our seven-day visit to Florence on the Elbe, we honestly visited the Gelateria Bellagio four times - "Are we going to have another ice cream?" my wife kept asking me and I knew exactly what that meant. Above all, I would like to mention the relaxed atmosphere that you can enjoy in the Bellagio when you can sit outside in comfortable wicker armchairs on the edge of the Neumarkt in Dresden late summer. The tall waiter is extremely friendly and accommodating, but interestingly not an Italian, but a Greek from Crete. So then "mille grazie" was replaced by "kalimera", "efcharisto" and "parakalo", which didn't affect the quality of the ice cream. By the way, the audience always votes with their feet and so the Gelateria Bellagio was very well filled on all of our four visits. My wife wisely chose a delicious serving of vanilla and nut ice cream on our first visit, while I was tempted to order the large chocolate sundae. This delicious calorie bomb was absolutely awesome, because the delicious vanilla and chocolate ice cream was equipped and decorated with all the sweet temptations that there are chocolate-containing sweets north of the Alps - the interested reader should please inspect the attached photo. The chocolate ice cream sundae contained temptation, seduction, maximum enjoyment, a calorie bomb and an absolute feeling of satiety until the next day. I have never eaten such a chocolate sundae in my entire life. I was so full afterwards that during my next three visits I limited myself to the spaghetti ice cream with amarena cherries, while my wife tried different ice cream sundaes with cream. Conclusion: everything at its finest, highly recommended, the Gelateria Bellagio in Dresden! Oh, one more thing: I remember that the word "xenos" has two meanings in the Greek language, firstly a stranger and secondly guest. That means: We came as strangers, were welcomed as guests and treated like friends, actually a very nice attitude. "Mille grazie" for some unforgettable hours at Dresden's Neumarkt, we would like to come back.

I can't understand the bad ratings, everything was ok here. The Irish coffee was also absolutely ok. Nice waiter. The ice cream was normal.

If you want to eat the absolute hammer sundae in Dresden, then this cafe is an absolute must. Rarely seen such good and large sundaes.

The lady who prepared the ice cream chewed gum with her mouth open all the time, also over the orders. She slurped across the floor with her slippers. The two women stared constantly at the cell phone, no wonder that you are overwhelmed ... Dispute in front of customers - NOT AT ALL! Employees totally overwhelmed and impossible behavior. A German young girl in the shop, which is nothing bad, but she was the only one who knows how to behave in front of customers and is very friendly, but also intimidated, no wonder with the colleagues. Terrible shop, I don't recommend it !! Even 1 star is too much for this ..!

Nice staff, realistic prices. In the Milano we left after 25 minutes without a service, here we were served quickly and friendly. Thank you Bellagio

Very tasty ice cream, gluten-free no problem!

Best ice cream I've eaten in a long time! The prices are a bit higher, but it's worth it, and the cafe is almost right next to the Frauenkirche. I can't fully understand the bad reviews ... The conditions speak broken German, but everything was fine when we placed our order. We'll be back.

It is worth looking for another place. The ice-cream may be good, but the prices are cosmic, the service must be based on a contract, because it confuses the orders, and the final bill does not correspond to the menu. Additionally, you cannot pay by card!

Here you are looked at crookedly and not even greeted. Not at all. One star is too much!

Operation extremely unmotivated, a simple order cannot be implemented. Ice cream much too sweet and coffee absolutely not Italian. On top of that, only cash payment possible, and that in 2020. Better to look for alternatives;)

Latte macchiato had a really weird taste, as a coffee lover I was pretty disappointed. My husband ordered Iced coffee and told that it doesn’t taste good as well. The only plus is the beautiful view to the streets

Banana yogurt and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. Good price. Seats available extensively. Tables were clean. Staff was good, but it could still be the 5 star in it ....

The best strawberry milk-shake I have ever drunk

Don't go. Very rude and indignant. My wife wanted to try the dark chocolate then the caramel but was only allowed one. Frustrated with that and the fact that they don't offer card payments I was done when they gave me attitude about her trying the second. Don't go

Won't let you taste flavors, staff ignores you. Doesn't accept credit cards. Go someplace else.

Very nice place at Dresden's City Center to enjoy a proper Italian Ice-cream! The price is a bit expensive, but worth it :) The service is alright.

Expectation vs. Reality - a spaghetti pie for € 7.50. In the map are 9 Amarena cherries to see on the plate (!) Were unfortunately only 5. Tasty it was not so great, so and because of the high prices only 3 stars. Pros: The staff was very fast and friendly. You can sit outside for people watching ;-)

Great gelato

while i sit, i wanted some gelato so i ordered. But the rude waiter said i need go out to the front of gelato bar located on the other side of the store... so i just didn’t order and say nothing

2 men stood in door and laughed like idiots saying lights are on so we are closed. Must be a great joke i missed along the way. Terrible service. Tasteless ice cream. Spend your cash elsewhere.i just needed the wifi.

Take away ice-cream in cones and cups was fine and the service was friendly and efficient.

Rude service, reluctant to answer questions about Gelato flavor. Server lady seemed like she resented her job. Wanted to leave but promised the kids Gelato! Won't be back. Probably ok food, etc. but reviews about bad service seem spot on.

Good ice-creams, wide range. 1,3 for a potion. 1EUR to go. Good coffee too.

The staff was friendly and quick. The portions are very reasonable for the prices. The drinks should have been expensive considering the amount. We were served quickly and everything was delicious. I can only recommend it.

Good banana split. Just note that the price for sitting down at table to eat your ice cream is higher than the price for the same ice cream listed on inside board (which is the price for take out/to go). This practice is understandable but if you come from the US, it might not be obvious.

Inspirational and creative icecrem on a hot day in May visiting Dresden

We had icecream named Schoko Becher (€6.50) and Erdbeer Becher (€7.00), and both of them were good but not as 'real' gelato. and the chocolate syrup was too sweet for me. Waiters were kind, nice place, good location, but pay in cash only.
